How it Works with the Support at Home Program
You can seamlessly fund our in-home meal preparation services through your Support at Home program allocation.
iSupportChef acts as an approved third-party supplier. This means you maintain your relationship with your primary Registered Provider or Care Manager, while we act as the specialized team delivering the actual service in your kitchen. From there, we establish a standard supply agreement with your provider, ensuring our invoicing complies completely with your quarterly budget guidelines and mandatory service price caps.

How does 'help at home' work under the Support at Home program?
The Support at Home program helps older Australians live independently in their own homes. The process typically begins with a standard My Aged Care assessment to determine your care needs, which then leads to the allocation of a specific classification level (from Levels 1 to 8) and an associated quarterly budget.

Because you have the right to choice and control over your aged care funding, you can choose who prepares your food. If you are already with a Registered Provider, adding us to your schedule takes just one quick phone call or email to your Care Manager.
Here is exactly what to tell your Care Manager:
“I want to allocate a portion of my Support at Home budget toward everyday living support for ‘Food Preparation in the Home’. I have selected iSupportChef as my preferred third-party supplier to cook fresh meals in my home. Please contact them at support@isupportchef.au or 0401 157 389 to set up a basic supplier agreement so we can begin.”
Once your provider contacts us, we will supply all necessary documentation (ABN, Insurances, Police Checks) and set up the direct billing so you don’t have to handle the paperwork.
