How it works - NDIS meal preparation
You can access our services via the NDIS if you are self-managed or plan-managed. Your plan needs to include Core funding – Assistance with Daily Life and/or Assistance with Self Care Activities.
Chat with us
Book a phone call to chat with us about what you need.
We’ll need to confirm with you that you’re registered for Core funding Support – Assistance with Self-Care Activities and/or Meal preparation.
If you have any allergies, intolerances or aversions to any foods please let us know so we can guide you. There are hundreds of different allergens, so please do let us know when you speak to us.
Choose your meals
Select the meals you would like from our menu and how many portions of each. The menu has a per-portion price and a minimum order beside each meal.
We have delicious seasonal menus for you to choose from and a kid’s menu too. Or if you’d prefer something different, we’ll create any meal you like.
Of course, we can custom-make practically any dish.
Choose your days
Think about what days of the week would work best for you. You’ll need to make sure someone is home on the day.
Please book your days as early as possible because we have a high demand for our services. This way we’re more likely to have a time available that fits into your schedule.
Quote and payment
To prepare your meals, we can provide a detailed quote covering food costs and preparation time.
An upfront payment may be required to cover these expenses.
Sit back and relax
We’ll arrive on time and introduce ourselves. Then go through any questions and confirm where and how you’d like it portioned. We’ll unpack the shopping, do a check of the kitchen, begin preparation and start cooking.
Then fill your fridge and/or freezer, clean the benches, load the dishwasher and put everything away – leaving your kitchen spotless!
Finally we will depart with a bon appétit, leaving you to enjoy your Chef-cooked meals.T
Invoice
Lastly we will invoice for the labour and shopping after we’ve visited and completed the work.
